The institute conducts regularly Seminars and conferences on the emerging topics in the campus with active participation with students and faculties.In the shadow of Annual Tech-Fest Technovation-2011 KIST organised an inter college robotics foot ball championship which is first ever event in its kind in odisha.
The institute provides excellent sports and games facilities for its students. Apart from organizing regular sports meets the Institute encourages students to participate in different sporting events KIST gives equal priority for Games & Sports activity in accordance with Academics in the institution. Which creates healthy & Sound mind among the students. We also organise the annual inter branch Competitions on Volley Ball,Cricket and other indoor games like Chess,Badminton etc.
