A unique feature of the KIST programme is its emphasis on combining the academic programme with real-world experience. KIST partners with several companies, based on their core competencies, to provide learning opportunities in the corporate world. Companies such as Infosys campus connect, HCL-CDC, PRDC, OCL, Pearson, Wipro Mission 10× and several others, offer custom-designed courses on campus. In addition, students of KIST carry out several live projects in various companies. This is an opportunity for students to apply their newly acquired skills and familiarize themselves with the corporate environment.

At the Career Development Centre, we guide students to explore how their aspirations and interests are related to various business practices. In the first semester, students undergo several self-assessments to identify their personality and career preferences. We then provide them with detailed information about various industries and career options. By the end of the first semester, students narrow down their choices and build a career-profile chart for themselves. This enables students to make informed decisions when choosing their electives. The Career Development Centre also provides expertise in crafting powerful resumes, developing interviewing and presentation techniques and building critical interpersonal skills.
